Venue: Dnipro Arena (31003 seats)

Dnipro-1 and Mariupol have both delivered a "par" performance so far, to use a golfing expression. Both hold mid-table positions in the Premier League.

There’s little time for restitution or working hard at the training pitch these days, with both teams having played their last game less than four days ago.

Dnipro-1 have had a bad season and will be relegated from Premier League. Mariupol are still fighting for top positions and their benefits.

Dnipro-1 form and stats

Dnipro-1 have played 10 Premier League games at their own stadium so far this season, resulting in 5-0-5 (wins-draws-losses).

Dnipro-1 lost their last game at Shakhtar Donetsk (placed 1st) after a 1-4 scoreline. Before that, Dnipro-1 had a home game versus Dynamo Kyiv which ended with a victory 3-1.

The bookmakers consider this a fairly even contest. One could say only the home advantage separates the teams. It could be relevant to look at how Dnipro-1 have performed in matches similar to this (as small favourites). Our database has found two matches with the results: Won two, drawn zero and lost zero.

The Dnipro-1 fans would probably like to see some more goals scored at their own stadium in the league, the tally being 14 in 10 matches. 14 goals have been conceded.

Mariupol had fun at their own home (Dnipro Arena) last time out, beating Vorskla 3-0. Sergiy Chobotenko, Dmytro Myshnov and Dmytro Topalov scored. A 0-4 defeat away at Desna before that.

As mentioned above, this is an open game with no clear favourite. We have found five similar matches played by Mariupol in our archives, and the results are: two wins for Mariupol, three draws and zero defeats.

The visitors will be packing their bags again in only three days as another away game awaits: The Ukrainian Cup trip to Alians Lypova Dolyna.

The visitors have scored 8 goals from 10 away games in the league, an average of less than one per game. For Mariupol, more than two goals on average per game end up in their own net.

The Ukrainian Premier League is the highest division of football in Ukraine. It was created in 1991 as Ukraine declared independence from the Soviet Union. Twelve teams play each other twice in a 22 match regular season to create a league table. The table then splits in half resulting in a Championship round and a Relegation round, each playing ten more fixtures.
