Division 1 is the third level of football in Sweden. It is divided into two sections, Northern (“Norra”) and Southern (“Sodra”). Each holding 16 teams playing 30 fixtures each to decide a final league table. The top team of each is promoted, the bottom three relegated. Further moves up/down can occur through playoff.
