Struggling Yenisey will be hoping to pull off an upset when they welcome high-flying Veles in the upcoming league round. It’s 17th vs 5th and the home crowd will have moderate expectations.

We should expect both teams to be fresh and ready for this match, as there is some time since both teams last played. Let's have a look at how the teams are doing!

Yenisey form and stats

3 victories, 0 draws and 2 defeats. That’s what Yenisey have to build on here at Central'nyj Stadion in the FNL. It's trouble wherever Yenisey are playing these days as they have suffered six straight defeats now, regardless of arena. They really need to get back to winning ways. We have seen two home losses in a row now for Yenisey, who are hoping that the phrase “third time lucky” applies to them.

Stress levels are on the rise for Yenisey's attacking players as they have now played 589 minutes without scoring in a league game. A. Zotov was their last goal scorer.

In their previous game, the manager A. Tarkhanov led his Yenisey to a defeat in the FNL match away at Baltika. The manager is hoping to put things right immediately here at Central'nyj Stadion. Heartbreak before that as Yenisey lost 0-3 at Rodina Moskva's place.

There's a new game coming up fairly quickly for Yenisey as they are travelling to their away game against SKA Khabarovsk in the FNL. That match is three days after this one.

The Yenisey fans would probably like to see some more goals scored at their own stadium in the league, the tally being 7 in 5 matches. On the other hand, Yenisey have conceded 7 goals.

Veles have an excellent away record in the FNL so far with 5-1-1 from 7 games.

Veles's last game was the home draw against Orenburg (1-1). Ahead of that match was the victory versus Volga Ulyanovsk at their stadium, the result 4-2.

After this away game Veles return home for a FNL game against Olimpiyets. That game is only four sleeps after this.

Veles find the net regularly in their away games. 10 goals from 7 away fixtures in the league. Veles are defending well in their away games, having conceded only 5 times in 7 matches. For more goal statistics, check out the Statistics tab above.
