Gangwon form and stats

Last season their Korean Cup adventure ended in the quarter-finals.

The story so far in the K-League Classic for Gangwon at their home stadium (Chuncheon Songam Stadium) is 2 wins, 5 draws and 2 defeats. The trend of drawing games is also valid regardless of arena as Gangwon has four draws from their last four matches.

V. Siladji was the last player to score a league goal for Gangwon and it's becoming a more and more distant memory as Gangwon haven't scored in 218 minutes. Nothing to worry about in defence for Gangwon, as their goalkeeper has completely shut out the opponents for 180 minutes in the K-League Classic.

The spoils were shared in Gangwon's previous game, also at home. Visiting Seoul travelled back with a draw after a 0-0 scoreline. The goalie Beom-su Lee was named most valuable player of the team in that game, scoring 8.1 out of ten. Lee stopped the opponent with five saves and topped it up with a clean sheet. A painful moment in the game against Seoul was the missed penalty kick from Vladimir Silađi in the 90th minute. A goal there would obviously have changed the match and probably the outcome.

In the match before that, Gangwon hosted Suwon and drew the K-League Classic game 0-0.

The manager B. Kim will start preparations for the next game as soon this is finished, as the hosts are going to Daegu in only four days.

Gangwon are certainly not overdoing their scoring at home in league matches, having created 9 goals in 9 games. From these home matches, Gangwon have conceded only 7 goals.

Seoul E. form and stats

Seoul was sent out of Korean Cup in the 3rd round last season.

Playing away, Seoul E. have won 1 game, drawn 3 and suffered 1 defeat in the K League 2 this season. Seoul E. have had a generous will to share for some time now, running a streak of three draws in a row.

Seoul has to pack their bags again for the second away game in a row. Last time they traveled to Ansan Greeners for a K League 2 game that ended a draw (1-1). The draw against Ansan Greeners came from a losing position. The Seoul manager J. Chung brought on Go Jae-Hyeon as a substitute and the player scored to make the scores level.

Before that, Seoul E. travelled to Bucheon 1995 and returned home with a draw after the K League 2 game finished 1-1.

After this away game Seoul E. return home for a K League 2 game against Daejeon Citizen. That game is only three sleeps after this.

Scoring goals is the main ingredient in creating success in football, and not only at home. So far Seoul have scored 6 goals in 5 league games away. They concede less than a goal on average per away game (4 so far).
