Seoul form and stats

Park Chu-Young was the last player to score a league goal for Seoul and it's becoming a more and more distant memory as Seoul haven't scored in 200 minutes.

Seoul lost their last game at Jeonbuk Motors (placed 2nd) after a 0-2 scoreline. Heartbreak before that as Seoul lost 1-2 at Melbourne Victory's place.

The hosts are modest favourites in this match, with the bookmakers estimating the chance of a home win at about 50% +- five percent. It's interesting to look at how Seoul have performed under similar circumstances, so here are some numbers: When modest favourites like this (we found eight games) they have won four times, drawn three and lost one.

The manager W. Lee will start preparations for the next game as soon this is finished, as the hosts are going to Seongnam in only three days.

Last season, Seoul's league statistics were 7 wins, 4 draws and 11 losses, resulting in a 7th position in the K-League 1. Over these 22 matches they scored 19 goals and conceded 37. Playing at home last season Seoul managed 5-2-4 (win-draw-lost) with 11 goals and 13 conceded.

Suwon has to pack their bags again for the second away game in a row. Last time they traveled to Daegu for a K-League 1 game that ended a draw (1-1). Preceding that match was the 1-1 draw at home vs Gyeongnam.

Suwon are the outsiders in this one, but not by much. Their performance in similar games (being the away team and moderate outsiders) is two wins, one draw and two defeats. From a total of five matches.

A quick return to home after this game, as Suwon are hosting Suwon Bluewings in the K-League 1 only three days away.

1 goal so far away for Suwon, while their defence has allowed the opposition to score 1. All from 1 league match away.
