Competition: Korea Republic K-League 1
Competition: Wed 17.June
Match begins: 10:00 (UTC)
Venue: Sangju Stadium (15042 seats)

The home fans are expecting three points in this fixture, as the home advantage should be put to good use versus a struggling visitor. Sangju Sangmu are in the 7th position while the guesting Seoul worry at 9th.

It's no vacation for neither Sangju Sangmu nor Seoul as both were in action only a few days ago. Expect some tired legs on the pitch and/or possibly some changes to the lineups.

Sangju Sangmu form and stats

Sangju Sangmu must be fairly happy with 6 points from their first three K-League 1 games here at Sangju Stadium.

Sangju's previous game was also a home match, the defeat 2-4 versus Pohang Steelers (placed 4th). Before that, Sangju played out a draw 1-1 when visiting Busan I'Park.

As you can tell by the result above, the goals flowed freely in the previous game and the stadium rocked. Could there be another goal fest today?

The bookmakers consider this a fairly even contest. One could say only the home advantage separates the teams. It could be relevant to look at how Sangju Sangmu have performed in matches similar to this (as small favourites). Our database has found twelve matches with the results: Won seven, drawn four and lost one.

Sangju are traveling soon after this match as the K-League 1 match at Seongnam awaits in three days.

A decent goal production from Sangju in their home games so far, with 5 goals from 3 league matches. Sangju's goalkeeper has had to pick the ball out of their own net 4 times. For more goal stats, check the Statistics tab above.

Seoul form and stats

Things could have gone better for Seoul in their K-League 1 away matches, but 3 points from 3 games is all right. Three has not been a lucky number for Seoul as they have been defeated three times in a row since the Pohang Steelers match.

Seoul are travelling again after losing away to Daegu in their previous match (0-6). A 1-4 loss hosting Jeonbuk Motors before that.

As you can see from the result above, the defeat against Daegu was particularly ugly (0-6). The humiliation is still top of mind.

As mentioned above, this is an open game with no clear favourite. We have found four similar matches played by Seoul in our archives, and the results are: two wins for Seoul, one draw and one defeat.

The visitors are returning home after this fixture, hosting Ulsan in just three days.

The visiting Seoul have scored more than one goal per away game in the league so far. The grand total is 3 goals from 3 games. Seoul can't defend away. 10 goals have been scored by the opposition in 3 matches, an average of more than three per game. You might want to look at the total goal statistics, which can be found on the Statistics tab above.
