The Regionalliga is the fourth level of football in Germany. It is divided into five groups based on regional location, leading to the names Regionalliga Südwest, Regionalliga West, Regionalliga Bayern, Regionalliga Nord and Regionalliga Nordost. Each group usually has 18 teams.
