Competition: Europe Champions League
Competition: Tue 15.February
Match begins: 20:00 (UTC)
Venue: Estádio José Alvalade (50044 seats)

It's game one of two in the Champions League as Sporting CP host Manchester City. This is a 8th Finals fixture played over two legs and nothing will be decided tonight.

These teams have little in common geographically as Manchester City have to travel 2500 kilometers to reach their opponents. The trip home will be especially long if the match ends in defeat.

There’s little time for restitution or working hard at the training pitch these days, with both teams having played their last game less than four days ago.
