Liverpool form and stats

Liverpool participated in Champions League the last season, where they reached the final.

2 victories, 2 draws and 0 defeats. That’s what Liverpool have to build on here at Anfield in the Premier League.

A draw after 90 minutes last time out for Liverpool, who played 3-3 against Brighton & Hove Albion. That match was also played at this venue (Anfield). As you can tell by the result above, the goals flowed freely in the previous game and the stadium rocked. Could there be another goal fest today? The striker Firmino was declared "man of the match" for Liverpool with the rating of 7.9/10. Firmino scored two goals, hit one key pass, dribled past the opponent 2 of 2 times and had 29 successful passes (of 34 total).

Ahead of that match, a home win against Ajax in the Champions League. Liverpool are huge favourites in this match and it would be a big surprise if they fail to leave Anfield with a victory. The home side has been in this situation before, with huge expectations of a win. In their match history 7 earlier games are comparable to this one, and Liverpool has won 7 times, drawn 0 and lost 0. Sports bettors who like handicap betting will like to know that Liverpool has won by at least two goals 7 times when in this position.

With more than three goals on average, the attacking play of Liverpool is on fire here. A stunning 15 from 4 league matches. Liverpool's goalkeeper has had to pick the ball out of their own net 5 times. For more goal stats, check the Statistics tab above.

Two trips in a row for Rangers, whose coach Bronckhorst could celebrate last time after the win against Hearts. A home win before that, celebrating 2-1 vs Dundee United.
