It's been rough for Figueirense so far, and I guess you could say the same about EC São José. The strugglers have a chance for some much needed points here.

Insights:
  • Figueirense have not yet lost a game at home.
  • EC São José have the fewest scored goals in the first half (0) in Serie C

This should be an interesting game with lots of spark and energy as both teams are well rested since they last saw competitive action. Game on!

Figueirense form and stats

Only two Serie C home games for Figueirense so far, yet both highs and lows with 1 win, 1 draw and 0 defeat.

Andrew was the last player to score a league goal for Figueirense and it's becoming a more and more distant memory as Figueirense haven't scored in 200 minutes.

Figueirense lost their last game at Ituano (placed 4th) after a 0-1 scoreline.

Preceding that game was the away draw at Ypiranga Erechim that finished 0-0.

It's still early days, but we have some goal stats for the Figueirense at home in the league. 2 on target and 1 scored by the opposition; from 2 matches.

EC São José form and stats

It's not happening yet for EC São José on their Serie C travels, with zero points from their first 3 away games. Maybe today will be different? Three might be a magic number, but there's been little wizardry in EC São José's last three away games as they have all been lost.

The supporters enjoyed José's previous game versus Mirassol (placed 6th), a Serie C 2-1 win played at home.

Prior to that match, the José manager H. Xavier Vieira faced defeat when travelling to Parana and losing 1-3.

EC São José are seemingly not capable of scoring regularly on their travels in the league. They have only managed 1 goal from 3 away games. Defensive performances away have varied in quality as José have conceded 5 goals on the road. For more goal statistics, check out the Statistics tab above.
