Sportivo Belgrano form and stats

The home fans haven’t been spoiled with victories in the Torneo Federal A this season. Sportivo Belgrano have only managed 1 win, 4 draws and 4 losses from their games here at Estadio Oscar Carlos Boero. With seven home Torneo Federal A games in a row without a win, the Sportivo fans could feel they are not getting value for their money. It remains to be seen whether this unfortunate streak, which started after the Crucero del Norte game long ago, can be stopped today.

R. Strada was the last player to score a league goal for Sportivo and it's becoming a more and more distant memory as Sportivo Belgrano haven't scored in 188 minutes.

Sportivo manager B. Martelotto and his team return home after a 0-0 draw away versus Crucero del Norte (placed 15th) in the Torneo Federal A.

Preceding that match was a defeat to Unión Sunchales (0-2).

Sportivo are traveling soon after this match as the Torneo Federal A match at Chaco For Ever awaits in three days.

Sportivo are certainly not overdoing their scoring at home in league matches, having created 10 goals in 9 games. It's been trouble in front of goal recently, as only 1 of these goals has been scored in their last three home matches. Sportivo have conceded 15 from these games.

Central Norte form and stats

The visitors are W2-D5-L2 on the road this term. That's in the Torneo Federal A.

Central Norte had fun at their own home (Estadio Oscar Carlos Boero) last time out, beating Sarmiento Resistencia 3-0.

A 0-1 defeat away at Gimnasia y Tiro before that.

The visitors are returning home after this fixture, hosting Def. de Pronunciamiento in just three days.

The visiting Central have scored more than one goal per away game in the league so far. The grand total is 11 goals from 9 games. As opposed to that, Central have seen the ball go into their own net 11 times on the road.

Head 2 Head

This is what happened when the sides played each other earlier this season; Central Norte - Sportivo 1-1. Numbers for the last ten meetings featuring these two sides are: four wins for Sportivo, four draws and two wins for Central Norte. Over 2,5 goals: seven times; under 2,5 goals: three games.

The Torneo Federal A is, together with the league Primera B Metropolitana, the third level of football in Argentina.
