Veles form and stats

2 victories, 3 draws and 1 defeat. That’s what Veles have to build on here at Stadion Avangard in the FNL.

Veles are hoping to put things right at home after a defeat in their previous match, the score 0-2 away versus Yenisey. Before that, Veles drew at home versus Orenburg.

The bookmakers consider this a fairly even contest. One could say only the home advantage separates the teams. It could be relevant to look at how Veles have performed in matches similar to this (as small favourites). Our database has found three matches with the results: Won one, drawn two and lost zero.

Some members of the home team might already be thinking of their next match, the FNL game versus Chertanovo in only three days. This game is also played here at Stadion Avangard.

The Veles fans would probably like to see some more goals scored at their own stadium in the league, the tally being 8 in 6 matches. Defensively it’s touch-and-go for the home team as 10 goals have been conceded.

Olimpiyets form and stats

As the visiting team in FNL matches, Olimpiyets have produced an overall stat of 3-0-2 so far. Impressively, the visitors are on a seven-match winning run which they hope continue versus Veles. Having won their last three away games Olimpiyets has no reason to fear anyone.

Impressive finishing from A. Popov (2) secured the home win 2-1 against Baltika in their previous game. Preceding that game was the away victory against Krasnodar II with the score of 3-2.

As mentioned above, this is an open game with no clear favourite. We have found five similar matches played by Olimpiyets in our archives, and the results are: two wins for Olimpiyets, zero draws and three defeats.

A quick return to home after this game, as Olimpiyets are hosting SKA Khabarovsk in the FNL only three days away.

Olimpiyets find the net regularly in their away games. 6 goals from 5 away fixtures in the league. 6 goals have been conceded by Olimpiyets in these games.
