The Thai League 1, also known as the T1 or the Toyota Thai League, is the top level of football in Thailand. It was recently known as the Thai Premier League but was rebranded in 2017. It has 16 teams who each play 30 fixtures to make up the final league table. The winner is crowned champion while the bottom three are relegated.
The Thai League 2, commonly known as the T2, is the second-tier professional league in the Thai football league system. It has 18 teams playing a season from February to October. Each team plays 34 fixtures. The top three in the league table are promoted while the bottom two are relegated.
