The Nemzeti Bajnokság I (meaning “National Championship I”) is the top level of Hungarian football. Is also known by the sponsorship name OTP Bank Liga, or shortened to NB 1. It was founded in 1901. The present format has twelve teams playing each other three times for a total of 33 fixtures.
